I’m really happy to be sharing that my work will be on display at the Queen’s Medical Centre (QMC) Art Gallery from 28th January until 18th February.
If you’ve never come across the gallery before, it’s a bit of a hidden gem. You’ll find it on D Floor, opposite the restaurant, and it’s open during normal hospital opening hours, so you can pop in whenever you’re passing through.
A Calm Space in a Busy Place
The QMC Art Gallery is a surprisingly peaceful and welcoming space tucked away inside a very busy hospital. It’s somewhere to slow down for a moment — whether you’re visiting, working at QMC, or just curious — and enjoy something creative and calming.
For this exhibition, I’ll be showing:
· Small original paintings of Silver Birch trees
· Framed prints of some of my larger works of Woodlands
There’s a lovely mix of pieces, whether you’re just browsing or looking for something special to take home.
Art That Gives Back
Another reason this exhibition means a lot to me is that 20% of all sales go directly to the Nottingham Hospitals Charity. The charity supports the Arts at NUH programme, helping bring art, music, and creative projects into hospitals to support wellbeing for patients, visitors, and staff.
So, if you do decide to buy a piece, you’re also helping to support something really positive.
Do Pop In
If you’re at QMC between 28th January & 18th February or at any time of the year, I know you'll find the quiet, unexpected corner of the hospital a pleasure to be in.
