Wildflowers are beautiful and wonderful for insects.
I painted this with a multicoloured background on watercolour paper.  Drew in the shapes and patterns of the flowers, stems, stalks, leaves and buds.  Once the tapestry of shapes was created I then added in extra colours.  Over the top I drew the shapes back in with the white pen giving it the effect of silk paintings.
 
A pretty painting that will look good on the mantlepiece or in a small area on the wall.
